Please ensure you have the right to live and work in the UK before applying.Job Title: Maintenance CoordinatorLocation: Green Gables Care Home, Valorum Care, Wingfield Rd, Alfreton Derby, DE55 7ANRate Of Pay: Up to £13 per hour depending on experienceShift Pattern: 40 hours per week, full time, ongoingInformation about the Role:Working as a Maintenance Coordinator at Green Gables, your duties will include the following:· Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.· Performing preventative maintenance.· Handling basic repairs and maintenance.· Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.· Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.· Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.· Taking apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.· Checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogues as necessary.· Using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.· Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.Necessary Experience or Qualifications:· Someone who has a real passion for maintenance and high-quality work.· Proven maintenance experience.· Must be a Driver with a Current and Valid Driving License.· Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.· Have the right to the work in the UK.· Good working knowledge of industry legislation and safe practices.· Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.Information about the Service:Set within the rural outskirts of Alfreton near Derby, Green Gables is a beautiful home set within mature gardens and close to local parks and surrounded by farmland this idyllic location is one the people we support enjoy.
