Working closely with the Strategic Markets Director, you will implement and manage our clients marketing strategy whilst increasing efficiency and maximising performanceand future growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in heading up marketing functions in the manufacturing and engineering spaceKey responsibilities of the role:Working closely with the Strategic Markets Director, Category Management team and Sales to develop, implement and manage marketing strategy, plan & objectives, to increase efficiency, maximise performance, and promote future growth.Developing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on marketing KPIs to evaluate and achieve efficiency and performance, and analysing data to inform future strategy and approaches.Overall responsibility for the marketing budget, including planning, monitoring, and reporting.Lead, coach and develop a team of 2 Marketing Officers to be the best that they can be.Required tasks:Define customer segmentation KPIs, Customer Personas, Customer Journeys and Customer Expectations across all market segments.Owns the successful delivery of a programme of digital and print marketing, trade events and branded merchandise.Set content strategy and calendar for all business units.Define event roadmap and ensure successful delivery.Create and maintain brand guidelines.Regional responsibility for supporting UK, Ireland and Export markets.Responsible for identifying new / emerging / adjacency marketing opportunities related to sector and creating plans to optimise the opportunityWork to devise & implement a cohesive brand voice and customer communication programme across product, sales, customer services and marketing teams.Ensures that Customer Data is protected in accordance with GDPR regulations.The Candidate:At least 4 years experience in a Marketing Manager position, ideally within a B2B manufacturer, construction or engineering.Expert, in-depth working knowledge of water utility and multi utility contractors markets preferred but not essential.Good understanding of environmental and sustainable impacts.Commercially astute and able to present and project manage marketing strategy within the context of customer led objectives and agreed commercial returns.Ability to manipulate relatively complex data sets within customer data leading to strategic decision making.Agency management experience.Cross functional management experience.PR & Comms experienceDigital ad campaign managementCherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
