A well respected and industry leading manufacturer of complex components supplying sectors including aerospace, defence, energy and marine has a number of new vacancies for CNC Machinists (milling & turning) to join the team. Following the award of new long-termbusiness and investment, candidates are sought who have experience in CNC Milling and/or CNC turning and the company can offer either day shift or fortnightly rotating days & nights.Commutable from: Heanor, Alfreton, Derby, Nottingham, Sutton In Ashfield, Mansfield, Sheffield. Salary: £ 30,000 - £ 41,800 + overtime + benefits Suitable For: CNC Miller, CNC Machinist, CNC Setter, CNC Operator, Setter / Operator, CNC Programmer.The RoleProducing high quality precision machined components to tight tolerancesProducing Programs and set-up both CNC and manual machine toolsAble to make fine adjustments to CNC machines to produce accurate components and complete the manufacturing process.Programming of CNC milling & turning machines.Inspect components to tight tolerances with standard inspection equipment including CMM.Work with all stakeholders to deliver the production plan on time.Ensure high standards of quality to exceed your customers expectations.Working to tight tolerancesTo ensure all products are handled and identified in accordance with working Practices andMaintain and promote safe working practices and policies whilst engaged in your daily role.The PersonApprentice trained or time served engineerExperienced producing high-quality components to tight drawing tolerances (Predominantly CNC Mill-Turn machines)Experienced programming CNC machinesAble to liaise with teams cross functionally from design, manufacturing through to purchasing and planning so work is completed in a timely manner.Experience working in precision engineering environment (aerospace, energy, automotive)Understanding of materials handling for all processed products in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.Understanding of continuous improvement philosophies.For more information send a CV to Jay Hunt
