Job TitleHGV Class 1 Driver – Night TrunkingStart Date Immediate Our CustomerOur long established logistics client based near Alfreton, Derbyshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.Job Description.• Ensure loading bays and de-kit are serviced in a timely manner with trailers and other vehicles• Trunking to other sites across the UK, very easy straight forward work• Ensure equipment is parked in the appropriate places, causing minimum obstruction/disruption to pedestrians• Carry out relevant vehicle checks at the start of each shift and keep the vehicles in a clean and tidy condition at all timesLicence requirements:• HGV Class 1 licence for at least 3 months• Up to date CPC for your Class 1• Up to date Digi card for your Class 1• Max 6 penalty points• No DD or IN10 penalty codesYou Must:• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic• Be punctual• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shiftSalary:• Night per hour: £12.00ph PAYE, £13.00 ph LTD (Until 6th April)• Higher rates are paid for weekend work if you are required to do any Class 1 work at weekendsLocation:• Alfreton, Derbyshire Contact us:In the first instance;• send us your CV or contact our office on .
