Job Description

Class 1 HGV DriversExtra Drivers are recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers for our client based in Somercoates, near Alfreton. Our client is able to offer trunking work on either a curtain sider or fridge trailer. Most work will be between Monday and Friday with weekend shifts also available if desired.Start times available for class 1 day drivers is between 0500 and 0800 with class 1 night drivers being between 1600 and 2000.Class 1 HGV Drivers will need:

  • A valid Class 1 License
  • A valid CPC and Tacho Card
  • No more than 6 points (No DDs, DRs, TTs, INs)
  • To have held your class 1 license for a minimum of 12 months due to insurance purposes.
    • Class 1 HGV Drivers will receive:PAYE
  • Weekdays - £11.50 per hour
  • Weeknights £12.50 per hour
  • Saturday - £14 per hour
  • Sunday - £15 per hour
    • LTD
  • Weekdays - £13.75 per hour
  • Weeknights - £14.75 per hour
  • Saturday - £17 per hour
  • Sunday - £19 per hour
