An industry leading manufacturer of complex components supplying sectors including aerospace, defence and energy has a new vacancy for a Business Development Manager to join the team. An experienced business development professional, you will form part ofthe senior management team and will be tasked with identifying & introducing new customers to the business and forging strong relationships with existing customers.Commutable from: Heanor, Alfreton, Derby, Nottingham, Sutton In Ashfield, Mansfield, Sheffield. Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + benefits Suitable for: Sales Manager, Sales Director, Business Development Manager, Commercial Manager, Head of Business Development.The RoleDevelop long term relationships with key customersIdentify new sales opportunities with existing and new customers.Develop and implement ways to package the company portfolio of products for existing and new market sectors.Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve targetsAct as main point of contact for key customers & account developmentTake full responsibility for the tender processResolve contractual and commercial issuesBe aware of new sector programs and technologiesProduce and analyse weekly and monthly reports in line with sales targets and market intelligenceNegotiate with customers at all levels to win business and improve marginsLiaise with engineering teams to understand how to meet customer requirementsThe PersonApplicants are sought with a proven track record of identifying new customers and maximising commercial opportunities in a senior technical sales position.
