Job Description

Baler / Production Operative

    • If this is, you then PLEASE READ ON!Our Alfreton based client are a large worldwide market leading producer that are specialists in their field.Due to continued growth our client requires additionalBaler / Production Operative to join the existing team and embark on continuous training to learn all sides of the manufacturing department.This is a long term position that can lead to progression for the right applicants.Duties to include;
  • Reasonablefor clearing waste cardboard, plastic wrapping, pallets and waste skips from various locations around the factory.
  • Stack and/or bale it outside in the yard, ready for collection.
  • An active part in ensuring both the yard and the factory are kept clean and tidy, making it a safe and productive environment for everybody to work in.
  • Sweeping inside and out, and using the mechanical floor cleaner on a regular basis.
    • Candidate Profile;
  • Practical, reliable and organised with a good level of physical fitness.
  • A good understanding of health and safety requirements, especially manual handling.
  • Able to use pallet trucks, mechanical floor cleaner, pumps and baler (or willing to learn).
  • Fork lift truck operator would be an advantage.
  • Flexible, helpful and can-do attitude.
  • Able to work on own initiative, and to support teams where required.
    • 4 Week temporary to permanent positionHours 37/week, day shift – 6:00AM until 13.24PM 5 days a week.
