Are you looking for new Workshop based roleAre you a skilled Forklift Engineer , Vehicle Engineer or Maintenance Fitter looking for a new role without the daily travel Are you confident in carrying out mechanical fitting , electrical connections ,inspectionand body repairs Kingscroft have been engaged by a distributor of specialist materials handling equipment to recruit for a Workshop engineer to join the workshop team. As the ideal candidate for the role you will have a good understanding of mechanical fitting including hydraulicsand be confident in carrying out a range of assembly duties. You should be able to carry out some simple bodywork style repairs , mast fitting, cab fitting and also be confident in connecting electrical components and controlling electronic units.As part of a small team you should be proactive in supporting other areas of the workshop as required and enjoy turning jobs around quickly in order to meet delivery timescales.Ideally you will have worked with Forklift Trucks in the past but our client is happy to help train and develop the skills of strong candidates from outside the Forklift Truck Sector. Engineers with transferable skills from specialist vehicles , agriculture, construction equipment , plant or materials handling are encouraged to apply.The role is Monday to Friday with overtime available at the start and end of the day when required to meet deadlines.
