Job Description

Temporary - Fulltime 37.5 to 40 Hours Per WeekBased in Aldridge£12.02 per hourFree parking, pension and 28 days holiday increasing with service.My client one of the leading suppliers to the oil and gas industry worldwide is looking to recruiting a Supply Chain Analyst. The Supply Chain Analyst will work together with Supply Chain team in constantly improving the companys performance.Duties for a Supply Chain Analyst to include:

  • Ensure SAP ERP system is fully utilised, along with other management tools to achieve the best possible customer service
  • Understand customer requirements and stock status to prioritize works orders according to business needs
  • Plan day to day operation ensuring capacity is fully utilized
  • Optimize costs, stock and work centre utilization
  • Coordinate resource availability; direct employee work hours and location by work centre
  • Chase delivery of raw material and subcontract operations
  • Supports the warehouse, manufacturing, dispatch and customer service teams
  • Responsible as part of the Supply Chain team for the following metrics: YOY cost reduction, DOH reduction, OTTR improvement, supply chain risk reduction
  • Manage the purchasing and procurement for various indirect suppliers
  • Maintains an excellent understanding of the operational capabilities of the business
  • Optimize the production planning process using Continuous Improvement
The ideal candidate for a Supply Chain Analyst will:
  • Has good IT ability and experience in working with SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Has excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to communicate with all levels in the business and influence cross functionally through the organisation
  • Has previous experience in Supply Chain with a track record of delivering high performance results
  • Understand and manage complex data, and to anticipate and highlight issues, taking decisive corrective action
  • Adopt a hands-on approach to achieve best possible customer service
  • Finance literate
  • Outstanding organisational and communication skills
