Job Description

Groomfield Recruitment are looking for a Quality Technician for their client based in Walsall.Salary:£22,000 - £24.000 [Depending on Experience]Responsibilities:We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking quality technician with a good eye for detail.You will primarily be responsible for the control and further development of the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) process.Duties:> Working with customers / sales managers to understand and meet their expectations, controlling the return of reported faulty product> Material movements> Fault analysis and repair> Creating RMA reports> Capturing associated costs and metrics.> To ensure the business complies to and operates within the scope of BS EN ISO9001:2015 and BS EN ISO14001:2015 standards.> Support management>> The quality technician will also be responsible for the creation, amendments and revision / release of Manufacturing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).The Right Person:> You should have or be willing to achieve a good working knowledge of various QA systems and tools.> 8D, 5whys analysis, 5s mythology, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.> Ultimately the quality technician will work to efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates.Requirements:

  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS applications
  • Good organisational skills
  • High-level of visual awareness and detail
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
  • Electrical safety awareness (Training can be provided for the right applicant)
  • Fault finding and analysis (Training can be provided for the right applicant)
  • Understanding of ERP systems (Training can be provided for the right applicant)
  • Experience with QA management system Qpulse (Training can be provided for the right applicant)
