Alma Personnel have been instructed by their Aldridge based client to recruit for hard working Purchasing Assistant to be based out of their site.A busy and demanding role which requires a lot of attention to detail and accuracy. You will be required to produce, plan and reorder lots of reports, whilst sourcing products from new and existing suppliers, many around the world.Liaise with supplier and freight forwards regarding imports and processing the correct documentation through out the whole order to delivery cycle.Use of excel spreadsheets and updating internal database is essential part of keeping track of suppliers costingsQuality standards within ISO9001Assist with the production of data collection.You will need to be hardworking, willing to learn and go above and beyond to succeed in this role.Excellent communication skills, IT and MS Office suite of products.Imports experience would be an advantage.Far East knowledge would also be beneficialCompetitive salary offered, early finish on Fridays, 25 days Hols plus stats!Free on site parking available.If you feel you have the right skills, personality and experience, apply now stating why you would be suitable for this position.
