Project ManagerRAF Alconbury£40-50k+car allowanceThe CompanyThey are a new business, formed to deliver infrastructure, asset, and facilities management services into the UK Defence Sector. They are a 50:50 Joint Venture between 2 already established big players in the FM and Utilities markets with over 55 years experience. They are committed to enabling Defence capability through maintaining and enhancing the built estate in which our Armed Forces live, work and train. This is a new role due to having recently been awarded a 3-year contract for the repairs, maintenance, and delivery of projects across the United States Visiting Forces Establishments. The roleYou will be responsible for driving the project through to completion, assessing risks and managing accordingly. Delivering in accordance with Government Regulatory and Statutory undertakings, complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards andpolicies. Monitor Supply Chain teams to ensure suitably qualified and experienced operatives are directed to relevant tasks to achieve safe working, timely delivery and required quality and all performance indicators are consistently achieved. Including the review ofRisk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure they are to an acceptable standard Confer with client to agree scope, priorities and delivery programmes of Billable Works on a regular basis. Manage cost and stakeholder expectation through excellent communication and sound commercial decisions to ensure value for money. Work with all stakeholders to support the management and mitigation of contract risk. Ensure appropriate work plans and budgets are in place to achieve programmes and financial commitments, whilst meeting the changing operational need. Could this be for youIdeally you will be qualified to HNC/D level qualification in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience. Hold management level qualification in H&S and Environment (e.g., SMSTS) And possess demonstrable experience of supervising staff in Project Management including:
