Job Description

The client are a global manufacturer. They supply to over 100 countries globally. They are seeking to strengthen their team by recruiting for this position.The main purpose of the role will be to maintain and develop plant quality improvements and projects.Duties to include are;

  • Responsible for producing quality specifications and procedures for implementation.
  • Validation of new or existing processes.
  • Investigating and resolving quality issues and providing production support.
  • Liaise with other departments to identify and implement quality tools (Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Support internal quality audit function.
  • Responsible for preparing summary reports for management and other formal review meetings.
  • Co-Ordinate activities relating to CAPAs/NCRs/SCARSs.
  • Maintaining IFS QM module.
I welcome applications from quality engineers who hold the following skills and expertise;
  • Experience of a Quality Engineering position within a volume manufacturing environment.
  • Hold a HNC / HND or equivalent in engineering or related quality discipline.
  • Come from a highly regulated background/sector such as aerospace, automotive, medical etc.
  • Trained internal auditor.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma.
  • Computer literate and have a "can do attitude"
The company are located in the Alcester area so are easily commutable from Stratford on Avon, Redditch, Bidford on Avon, Droitwich, Worcester, Evesham, Leamington Spa, Solihull, BirminghamBenefits include - Pension.
