You will be able to demonstrate accurate attention to detail and initiative to identify and solve problems. You will be responsible for day-to-day HR processesfrom recruitment to performance management, and you will be expected to deliver a robust HR service, ensuring that the school adheres to the correct HR procedures and statutory requirements.You will be responsible for the maintenance of the Single Central Record (SCR) and School Workforce Census (SWF), staff absence records, and personnel files. You will carry out all stages of the recruitment process, including the processing of DBS checksand pre-recruitment checks, as well as having responsibility for the induction of new staff and the monitoring of probationary periods. The HR Manager is responsible for the booking and recording of staff Continued Professional Development (CPD) training courses,and for administrative support with the annual appraisal process.It is essential that applicants can demonstrate an understanding of DBS processes and the Single Central Register. Previous experience of working within an educational environment is desirable. Candidates should have excellent organisational skills, andbe effective and efficient in managing their workload. You should have exceptional administratice and IT skills, be able to prioritise your workload, and meet tight deadlines.
