Job Description

Location: Support Office (Alcester)The RoleHelping Hands has been established for over 30 years and throughout that time the HR function has become increasingly vital to the success of the company. To maintain the success of the business and support us in our future growth plans were looking fora new Head of Employee Relations.Based in our Support Office in Alcester and reporting into the Group Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR department including Employee Relations, Workforce Administration,Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward and Recognition, as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and management of the HR budget.Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and be instrumental in creating excellent working relationships ensuring that Helping Hands values are delivered in a professional manner and are always maintained, with members of the team, company, and clients
  • Ensure that all areas/branches in Helping Hands follow the Helping Hands policy guidelines and are of the highest standard
  • Ensure that managers are developing their teams to deliver safe customer care and support the Regional Care Directors accordingly
  • Work with the Senior Regional Team on continual improvement of quality systems and processes to develop a better service to all HR Hub users.
Who You AreTo be successful in this role you will be a high performer who is able to influence and impact people and the business. You will have good commercial understand alongside strong analytical skills and a passion for person centred care. Alongside these valuesyou will also have the following skills/experience
  • Completed or working towards CIPD level 7 or equivalent
  • Experience of leading an HR team
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, legislation, guidance and best practice in line with CQC
  • Experience of writing policies and procedures
