Churchill Howard are working on behalf of a leading FTSE retail group looking to hire a Group Controls Accountant to join at an exciting time for the business and to develop and progress in this well-respected Head Office team in Warwickshire. The IT Assurance Team work seamlessly together and interact with a wide range of stakeholdersand areas of the business making this an enviable department and role to be in.They are looking for characteristics that will enable you to build effective relationships across the business with key stakeholders and have the confidence to lead and take ownership of meetings. As well as having the drive to succeed. Key internal stakeholders to this role will be the Group Controls manager, Head of Group Financial Reporting and Control, CFO, the Group Financial Controller, the Group IT department, internal audit, the commercial finance team, shared services department,subsidiary companies, and the wider Board, as well as the Audit Committee.You may be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent and may have also gained CISA qualification although this is something they are keen to offer to you and to fully support training and studies with.In terms of your background they are open to people from the Big 4/Top 10 or a relevant role in industry and commerce. An offer would secure a competitive salary, benefits and bonus scheme. As well as vary flexible to approach to working from home, with very few essential office days in the calendar.
