Job Description

RM Recruit are supporting an established and growing Not For Profit education provider to recruit a newly defined Finance Officer for their expanding team. This role will see you provide an end to end finance service for a number of sites across the Alcesterregion. With outgoing nature, and with excellent attention to detail, this post would see you operate in a busy, front line role supporting both finance and operational stakeholders across the organisation.Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Production of monthly management accounts for allocated sites
  • Detailing variances between budget, forecast with commentary
  • Preparation of detailed forecasts vs. budgets with support from the Finance Manager
  • Collate and prepare information as per budget
  • Ensure all charity income is correctly recorded and distributed
  • Attending finance meetings to discuss tasks and progress and any issues that have arisen
  • Supporting the central finance team and Finance Manager throughout the external and internal audit process
  • Analysis of grant income and expenditure
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Aged debt/creditor reports/Supplier statement reconciliations
This newly created post will have a 12 month duration with the possibility of progression to a permanent role. Our client can offer either a 4 or 5 day working week and excellent work/life balance. Experience within the education sector (Schools, Multi-AcademyTrusts etc) would be highly advantageous but candidates from the wider Not for Profit and private sectors are encouraged to apply. Whatever your background, you will be confident of operating in busy environments and be comfortable liaising with non-financestakeholders. AAT Qualified candidates are of high interest to our client and any exposure to either Dimensions or Hote100 systems would be highly advantageous.This post will have a start date in September 2022 and the successful candidate will be subject to a full DBS check.
