They are currently seeking an Engineering and Quality Manager to lead their product manufacturing engineering and product quality activities.Engineering and Quality ManagerJob SpecificationLead the Engineering and Quality functions to achieve OTD within budget and RFT.Establishing data to control and improve the performance of Quality, Cost and Delivery.Manage Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to control all aspects of component manufacturingEngineering & Quality point of contact for Customer and Supplier related issuesSupports the bid process to ensure alignment of new product to business capabilityDevelopment of robust and appropriate inspection methodologies for inspecting products during produce life cycle Lead problem solving activities associated to NPDIEnsuring the completion of First Article Inspection Reports and associated documentation using AS9102 to Customer requirementsDeployment of Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)Participate in Lean Events to improve any aspect of performance associated with new product introductionSupports the justification and commissioning of new plant and equipment through allocation of suitable Manufacturing Engineering resource as requiredDevelop employees to ensure they are able to carry out their duties and to contribute to the performance and agreed standards of the area/businessEssential Skills/Experience/Qualifications requiredFabrications experience EssentialExperience in the Aerospace or IGT sector essential Confident in both Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Management
