Paraplanner part-timeAlbury, Surrey£35,000 - £45,000Part-time paraplanner required. Excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team working from our office near Guildford, in the Surrey Hills. We will give you the responsibility that your high level of experiencedeserves, and you will have every opportunity to use your significant paraplanning and financial planning industry skills.About the roleThis is an interesting and challenging paraplanner role working alongside the Director and Advisers. You will be ensuring that the paraplanning work is researched, planned, delivered, and processed correctly and on time. Duties will include:

• Analysis - full analysis of clients requirements, development of cash flow models and accurate recording of client data.
• Solutions - construction of financial planning solutions (investment, retirement, tax, and estate planning) supported by the production of both written reports and analysis.
• Recommendations - preparation of letters and reports (liaising with administrators), taking full responsibility for the client files and back-office IT records throughout the advice process.
• Reviews - preparation of client reviews, updating cash flow models, investment performance reviews and production of supporting reports and discussion documents.
• Relationship Building - liaison with clients by telephone, letter, email and attending meetings where appropriate.
• Coordination - working with administrative staff to ensure application and provider forms are prepared as required and clients are updated throughout the process.
• Partners - working with other professional advisers e.g. solicitors and accountants to implement an agreed action plan.
• Compliance - Ensuring that the business obtained is being processed compliantly and in a timely manner.

Skills, experience, and qualificationsThis role would suit a professional paraplanner who enjoys using their initiative and has a can do working style. We are looking for someone who will thrive and enjoy working in our close knit and supportive team.

• A high standard of accuracy and concise written output, with good attention to grammar and syntax, is required.
• Level 4 Diploma is desirable but not required if you have extensive paraplanning experience.
• Significant industry experience in the technical aspects and administration of Trusts, IHT and/or Pension and/or Investment products.
• Highly organised and have excellent communication skills.
• Possess a solution focused approach to your work.
• Adhere to a high standard of professionalism.
• You will have contact with clients, and it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.
• Full training is provided on the relevant IT systems. Prior experience of Intelliflo, FE Analytics, Fundment and Timeline software will be highly advantageous.

Additional informationThis is a part-time role and the salary quoted is the full-time equivalent salary.
