Job Description

Manpower is currently looking to recruit a van driver for a client in the Airdrie area where you will be responsible for delivering bathrooms and kitchens to customers.Successful candidates will be working at one of the leading and busiest branches in the UK.

  • Due to the nature of the role, you must be prepared for the elements as you will be outside at times
The duties of the role include:
  • Delivering products to both business and residential addresses using a van, ensuring correct and timely deliveries
  • Manual handling of products prior to loading your van and setting off for the day
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties (and in the yard) when required
  • Using/completing order sheets to ensure that the correct products are delivered
The general working pattern is as follows:Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00You may also be required to work a Saturday shift, at times (time and a half paid):Saturday 08:00 - 12:00NOTE: Time and a half is paid after 8 hours of work, and for any work undertaken on a Saturday.Having past experience in using a tipper truck would be beneficial, but isnt essential.If you like the sound of this position, please dont hesitate to apply!
