Locum Specialty Doctors in Palliative MedicineSt Andrew’s hospice, Airdrie or Kilbryde Hospice, East Kilbride4 -10 PAs per weekTwo full or part time locum specialty doctors are required to join the dynamic and supportive team of Palliative Medicine specialists in NHS Lanarkshire for a 6-12 month period. The team covers Kilbryde and St Andrew’s hospices, as well as the 3 university hospitals and an extensive community SPC service. The successful applicants will be based in the inpatient unit of St Andrew’s or Kilbryde hospice, but the agreed job plan will reflect their experience and interests. This post could provide excellent experience for those interested in a later application for higher specialist training. The days of work are negotiable but taking part in a 1 in 5 on call rota is essential, paid with an availability supplement and 1 session per week.It is essential that applicants possess a minimum of four years’ experience post-registration, with at least six months exposure to unselected medical receiving.
