Consultant in Anaesthesia with an interest in intensive care medicineUniversity Hospital MonklandsUniversity Hospital Monklands (UHM) is looking for a Consultant Anaesthetist with an interest in intensive care medicine to join its existing team of Consultants and wider multi-disciplinary team.The Anaesthetics Department is part of the Surgical & Critical Care Directorate, which provides services within a 7 theatre main operating suite and a stand-alone 2 theatre day unit. There is a 10 bedded Level II/III ICU, normally admitting approximately 600 patients per year and 6 Level I surgical beds, admitting over 200 patients per year.The successful applicant will contribute to the provision of general anaesthesia within the main theatre and day surgery unit and the provision of critical care including out of hours work.
