Job Description

A Warehouse Supervisor is required on a permanent basis for our well-established client in logistics services industry:Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Job.Location: Acton, West London, W3.Working hours: Weekly rotating shift pattern of 8h. between 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Overtime and weekend work is required.Reporting to: Warehouse ManagerSalary: Approx £30,000 - £35,000 / annual salary, depending on hours, overtime, and skills and experience.Who are the companyThey are a dynamic and growing independent hire business within the TV & film sector based in West London. They supply behind-camera equipment to film & TV shoots across London and they are looking for a new Loading Bay Supervisor to join their growing team.As a team they pride themselves on providing a first-class service, from the initial booking process of the job, the meticulous loading of the equipment right through to the delivery. And their customers love them for it!Attention to detail, good customer service skills and an eye for quality control are essential for them.Who are youIdeally you would have had a proven history of working in a fast-paced warehouse with plenty of experience with both computer-based systems and man management.Organisation skills and attention to detail are essential, you must be able to balance workloads and priorities and be calm enough to accept last minute changes as they happen.This is a fast-paced role which thrives on excellent communication skills and a positive can-do, team oriented, attitude.If you think this sounds like you, please submit your CV with a short cover letter.Key Responsibilities:• Efficient and safe management of the Loading Bay area and staff• Supervising the loading and unloading of vans and couriers, ensuring that all equipment is correctly logged and processed.Job role to include:• Prioritising workloads and tasks for optimum efficiency• Loading and unloading vans and ‘tying off’• Using both computer and paper-based checking systems with complete accuracy• Exercising quality control when loading hire equipment• Close communication with the Booking Team• Dealing with couriers returning and collecting equipment• Ensuring environmental goals are supported and achieved.Key Requirements:For your application to be successful, you will be able to demonstrate skills in:• Strong work ethic and good attention to detail• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, helpful manner with customers and colleagues• Clear and professional communication skills• Responsive and calm problem-solving attitude.• Experience with tools and practical work-shop skills are desirable.• Experience with equipment hire software, Current RMS, inspHire software or similar hire software that you are using in your current role.• You must be over 25 years old and able to drive with no more than 3 points on your licence.• You must live within easy reach of W3 London (30 mins)Benefits:• 28 – 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)• Pension• Health Insurance• Profit share opportunities for long term employees• Company events• Friendly and supportive work environmentIf you like to apply for this job, please email me back your-up-to date CV with all your relevant work experience, skills and qualification + short Cover Letter.After initial screening of the CVs, the suitable candidates will be contacted back regarding arranging of a job interview.Oliver - Senior Recruitment Consultant
