Job Description

Do you have experience as a Catering Supervisor Are you looking to make a difference to patients lives during the current pandemic Can you start workimmediatelyIf your answer is YES to all of the above then this is the role for you!I am looking for a Patient Dining Supervisor to work at Hammersmith Hospital for an ongoing period of time. Reporting to the Catering Business Manager, you will be managing a team of Ward Hosts & Hostesses whowork in conjunction with the ward and kitchen teams to develop and provide a high quality, helpful and courteous service to patients and staff.As a supervisor, some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • To achieve service level agreements and health and safety requirements
  • To ensure that patients dietary requirements are provided for
  • To communicate with the kitchen and ensure that all food orders and made and are what are required
  • To monitor performance and ensure KPIs are met (PSS, satisfaction, audit)
  • To maintain a 5 star Food Hygiene Rating
  • Some ad-hoc duties may be required depending on the needs of the service
    • You will have:
  • Experience in a similar position - Catering/Food & DrinkSupervisor in a Hotel or Hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a busy environment
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 or above
