Job Description

HR MANAGER-PART-TIME CHISWICKHIGHLY COMPETITIVE SALARY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE, PART-TIME ROLE, FLEXIBLE HOURSOur client is looking for a Part-time HR Manager to join their well-established private sector construction services company based in Chiswick.The role of HR Manager involves the following tasks.Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy.
  • Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills.
  • Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them.
  • Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
  • Implement learning and development policy.
  • Maintaining and roll out of M-Files in the business.
  • Assisting with recruiting staff.
  • Carry out new starter inductions.
  • Manage talent and succession planning.
  • Following up on performance concerns & disciplinary actions with staff members.
  • Assisting with Employee discipline.
  • Pensions, Private Health Care & Benefits Administration.
  • Monitoring staff performance & attendance.
  • Dealing with PAYE contracts, salaries, redundancy on behalf of Staff.
  • Overseeing IT Wasp Asset Management System and ensuring monthly reports are retrieved showing details of all company assets.
  • Approving monthly mobile phone costs with Southern Communications.
  • Dealing with IR35.
Competence Requirements
  • CIPD qualification essential
  • HR experience essential
  • Good office skills including typing, filing and accurate record keeping
  • Possess excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Fluent use of business English, both verbally and in writing
  • An energetic, fast learning, can-do’ attitude.
  • Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to solve problems
  • Sales and negotiation abilities
  • Good organisational & communication skills
  • IT and social media skills
  • Administrative and project management skills
  • Resourcefulness, creative thinking
  • The ability to build and maintain professional relationships
