Job Description

Our client are a leading giftware and furniture supplier, who have been market leaders for over 40 years. An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join the team, and manage and grow key accounts in the North East of England.This is an unmissable opportunity for someone who is passionate about interior design, a great communicator, someone who enjoys meeting new people, and someone who can handle objections to take the next step in their career.The Role

  • You will be accountable for managing and developing the customer account base including retailers, interior designers, hoteliers and property developers.
  • To develop and implement strategies to grow annual sales revenues organically via enhanced sales support and excellent customer service.
  • To communicate enthusiastically to customers about the companys product and services as well as educate customers about new product ranges and trends ensuring a professional company and brand image is provided.
  • To ensure regular showroom visits are undertaken in order to build on product knowledge and keep up to date with newness.
  • To be aware of current trends as well as awareness of the interior industry and competitors.
  • The candidate
  • Must have experience in a customer facing role and have the ability to form strong business relationships.
  • The ability to be self-driven and have the ability to work independently and creatively as well as working in a team.
  • Must be a strong communicator and demonstrate ability to solve problems.
  • Experience within the Interior Design industry and a passion for interiors industry would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and time manage effectively.
  • Have a full, clean UK driving license.
