Radiology Booking ServiceRadiology Booking ServicePost: Booking OfficerBase – Nevill Hall HospitalTenure: Fixed Term (6 months)Hours – 37.5 hoursTHIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 6 MONTHS TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVEThe Radiology Booking Service has a full time vacancy for a Booking Officer who will specialise in booking Radiology appointments using Patient Focused Booking skills to Welsh Government guidelines.The successful candidate will require excellent customer service skills, a good telephone manner and the ability to work in an open plan, busy office environment. The Radiology Booking Service books diagnostic scans booking over 9,000 appointments a month.A call centre background and experience of call centre bookings, knowledge of databases and an understanding of waiting list co-ordination or working to set guidelines are essential.
