Here at The Edinburgh Woollen Mill we have a fantastic opportunity for a Food Service Manager at our Scottish Wool Centre store in Aberfoyle. The store is situated in a beautiful area of Scotland on the edge of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park andwithin commutable distance of Callander, Stirling and Glasgow.If you would like to be part of a forward-thinking business and have a job with excellent career prospects, we would love to hear from you.This is a high paced catering unit requiring a high standard of capability to ensure there is a safe and smoothly run operation. Experience of large fast paced catering would be advantageousThe ideal candidate must be experienced in kitchen and front-of-house management, Level 3 / Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification preferred but not essential. An understanding of an EPOS till system would be beneficial.You must also have an understanding of cooking skills & food presentation, with good margin control and a passion for customer service in a restaurant environment as well as business management skills.Primary Function: To deliver excellent food & service to our customers, with strong leadership skills, whilst achieving company targets & budgets, and ensuring all legal compliance is achieved, and company guidelines are followed.This will be delivered by ensuring there is an appropriate menu offering at all times, with a high level of presentation within a hygienic and safe environment.The company provides ongoing training as well as other staff benefits which include:Staff discountPension Scheme28 days paid holiday
