Technical Development Leader (Anaerobic Digestion) Banffshire, Scotland£60,000 - £70,000 DOE + Pension + Holidays + Healthcare Do you consider yourself an expert within the field of process chemistry or chemical engineering and want to apply your skills to a leading company within the Renewable Energy industry in Scotland This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of distilleries across Scotland and are unmatched in the work that they do in the UK. Off the back of their success they are looking to grow their teamand improve upon the work that they do and so are looking for a Technical Development Leader to join the upper-management of the company. In this role you will carry a number of responsibilities relating to process development across the companys major sites in Scotland. This will include the design, implementation and analysis of process development trials, the presentation of reports and proposalsto senior leadership and supporting the engineering team to fully implement well-validated projects. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience in a process development role and will have experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industries. They will need to have at least a Bachelors degree in some form of chemical engineering discipline or similarand will have proven project management skills. This is a great chance for someone with process development experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industries to immediately enter into a senior position within a rapidly expanding Renewable Energy company where the work that you do will significantly impactupon the companys overall performance. The role: * Designing, scoping & implementing process development trials for anaerobic digestion process * Presenting detailed reports and proposals following trials including commercial benefits * Leading and developing internal Process Development team * Liaising with Business Development team to support external process development trials * Supporting Engineering team to implement well-validated projects following successful trials The person: * Minimum Bachelors degree in chemical engineering discipline, ideally Masters/PhD qualified * Proven project management experience * Minimum 10 years experience in technical/process development position * Experience within the Energy industry, ideally familiar with the anaerobic digestion process * Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills * Living in the Ayrshire/Banffshire areas or willing to relocate * Full UK driving licenseRise Technical Recruitment Ltd regrets to inform that our client can only accept applications from engineering candidates who have a valid legal permit or right to work in the United Kingdom.Potential candidates who do not have this right or permit, or are pending an application to obtain this right or permit should not apply
