Industry: EngineeringJob Title: Senior Electronics Design EngineerType: PermanentLocation: AberdeenshireSalary: £40,000 - £53,000 per annum, DOEExcellent Benefits PackageAn excellent Engineering Specialist business based in Aberdeen who produce advanced high quality technology for numerous industries such as the Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Security, and many more have a new exciting opportunity to hire for a newSenior Electronics Design Engineer to join the business on a permanent basis during an exciting period of growth.The salary on offer for the successful Senior Electronics Design Engineer is £40,000 - £53,000 per annum depending on experience and skillset.Responsibility & accountability:

  • The successful Senior Electronics Design Engineer will need to have the ability to contribute to the full product development cycle from technology evaluation to schematic design, to delivering prototypes ready for manufacture.
  • Perform electronic circuit design, PCB Design and evaluate tasks for new designs; participating in design reviews; performing laboratory testing and design verification.
  • Define new technology and innovations for future roadmap and project management of projects consisting of multi-disciplined teams.
    • Senior Electronics Design Engineer Mandatory Skills:
  • Degree, BS/MS in Computer, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or similar
  • 3-5+ years industry experience
  • Electronics Circuit Design (Analogue/Digital)
  • PCB Design & Schematic Capture
  • PCB Design experience of the following packages: Altium, PADS, Proteus, Mentor Graphics, Cadence or similar
  • Embedded Software Development in C, C++
  • Network interface – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485
  • Strong practical skills – debugging, assembly, testing, electronic/mechanical assembly
    • Desirable nice to have skills:
  • Develop and implement test procedures to verify the design operation and its compliance to international standards e.g., CE/EMC
  • PID loop and electrical motor control experience
  • IP Video Management Systems
  • Industry experience – Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Defence, Subsea, Aerospace
