Job Description

Sales Engineer (Heavy Industry)Aberdeen£38,000 -£42,000 DOE + Internal Sales + Office Based + Training + Company BenefitsAre you a Sales Engineer or similar, with any engineering background, looking for to step into a highly autonomous site based role, where no two days are the same working for clients in various niche sectors, from subsea, through to oil and gas and heavyindustry sectorsAre you looking to work for a company passionate about unleashing its employees potential, working with a team of industry leading professionals that will ensure your success is nothing but a priorityOn offer is the opportunity to work for a specialist company which have been designing and manufacturing innovative hydraulic solutions since the 1950s. This is a highly autonomous role, where you will be be keeping in touch with established and valued clients,introducing new products and services and deal with any new sales enquiries within the business.The Role:

  • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing a proposal to address these needs
  • Dealing with new enquiries that come in, in a proactive manner
  • sell a service solution for hydraulic cylinders, but mainly for harsh environments anddeepwater applications.
  • Attend events to build relationships with Industry partners and keeping up to date with new trends/competition/market
  • Creating a sales forecast and actively working towards reaching them.
The Person:
  • Sales Engineer / Sales Co-ordinator with a hydraulics engineering background or similar
