Job Description

Rigger / Machine Mover (CSCS / NPORS / IPAF)£14.50 - £17 ph DOE + Door to Door Pay + Overtime + Company Vehicle + 7am - 3pm Working Day Aberdeen/North of ScotlandAre you a Rigger / Machine Mover looking to work with a company that can train in a range of qualifications, offer great overtime and conditions and who have lots of opportunity to develop your skills and career in a growing businessOn offer is an excellent role with great training and flexibility and the scope to develop your training and career with a well-established, professional operation.The companys in-house comprehensive plant and equipment ranges from Hydraulic Lifting Gantries for moving very heavy presses to the most versatile Valla mini cranes, Versa Lifts, Forklift Trucks, Hiab Lorries, Flat beds, fully kitted out tackle vans and theHydra-Slide system which is a unique low profile skidding system for which the company is the sole technical specialist for the UK and Europe.You will be physically fit, work well as part of a team and be keen to train and develop.Responsibilities:

  • Work in the yard and job sites as needed.
  • Assist in moving, aligning, and levelling machinery.
  • Learn and use basic and advanced rigging techniques.
  • Assist in loading, tying down and unloading equipment on trailers.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Operate forklift effectively from signalman.
  • Use of manual/hydraulic jacks, chain falls/trolleys and other equipment.
  • Works with supervisor and crews to learn the process of moving equipment on the job site and in the yard.
  • 90% of work based in or around Aberdeen and North of Scotland
The person:
  • Experience as a Rigger / Machine mover with CSCS / NPORS and ideally experience in one of the following IPAF, LOLER, Telehandling or Counterbalance Forklift license
