Job Description

Theatre Practitioner - Orthopaedics Up to £38,000pa plus benefitsNottinghamTFS Healthcare are pleased to be working with one of the UKs leading healthcare companies, searching for an skillful Orthopaedic Theatre Practitioner to work in their busy Theatre department. This hospital has 66 private rooms, 5 theatres and one endoscopysuite. They cover orthopaedics, cardiac, robotic surgery, general, ophthalmology, urology, gynaecology, dermatology and more.The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment, promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.This is a full-time role consisting of 37.5 hours a week across flexible shift patterns. The salary for this role is up to £38,000 plus benefits.Duties:

  • Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
  • Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
  • Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge / skill, and expertise.
  • Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
  • Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
  • Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.
