An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, pragmatic and personable individual to undertake the role of Clinic Administrator for the Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.The role will require the post holder to be able to multi-task, have good attention to detail and have the ability to maintain confidentiality. The role will require strong IT skills with an ability to report in excel. The Clinic Administrator will also be required to speak to patients in a calm and helpful manner whilst listening sympathetically. The post holder will be involved in greeting patients on arrival to clinics.Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team are essential for this role. Please read the job description and person specification in full and apply only if you meet the essential criteria.The role is AFC Band 2, Salary scale £18,600 - £20,606 (pro rata) and is available on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2022. The hours available are 37.5 hours per week, however part time hours may be considered. Vaccination Clinics run between 8am – 8pm 7 days per week, and applicants must be able to work flexibly across these times.The post holder will be based at Huntly Clinic, however you may be required to support work being carried out at other locations.As this is a fixed term post, if you are an existing NHS Grampian permanent employee and are interested in the role, please speak with your manager prior to submitting your application form with a view to having a secondment agreed in principle and an ability to start immediately if you were successful following interview.The advert will close at Midnight on 21st May 2021 and interviews will take place on 28th May 2021 using Microsoft Teams.Please note that in the event that sufficient applications are received before the closing date, this post may close early.
