Our company is seeking a highly competent Planner with expertise in Primavera P6 to join our team. The Project Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that project objectivesare met within the specified timeframe.Responsibilities:• Support the project manager and operational teams in the successful planning and control of project delivery utilising a range of planning and reporting tools and techniques.• Support the project manager and operational teams in the successful planning and control of project delivery utilising a range of planning and reporting tools and techniques.• Ensure that the project reporting requirements are met for both internal and client needs.• Work with the project teams to ensure project schedules are accurately developed and maintained with accurate resource.• Develop and maintain resource histograms for resource planning and cost forecasting purposes.• Ensure the programme meets the contractual requirements.• Attend and participate in progress meetings.• Attend the different sites as and when- required to review progress.• Address planning issues that arise and adapt plans to ensure project delivery.• Support in the production of tender information.• Monitor and report on the progress of the projects, escalating if the project is not running to timescales and cost plans agreed.• The preparation, development and maintenance of effective project reporting tools following established company processes and best practice.Requirements:• Degree in business or supply chain advantageous.• Expertise in Primavera P6 is a must.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a planning, contracts, logistics or supply chain role• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.What is in it for you:• Great company pension• Can be based in Aberdeen or Peterhead office with work from home available• 37.5 hour working week, can be flexible on start and finish timesIf you meet the above requirements and are interested in this position, please submit your resume and cover letter.
