Job Description

Project Manager (Subsea / Manufacturing Equipment)£60,000 - £70,000 + Hybrid + Chartership Support + Excellent Pension + Bonus + Flexi Time + Pay and Role Progression + Private Healthcare + Funded TrainingAberdeenAre you a Project Manager with experience in manufacturing principles or with a background in the Subsea sector, looking for a varied and hands-on role within an Oil and Gas Engineering Consultancy which supply tailored lifting solutions, equipment and personnelpackages for the global energy sectorsAre you looking to become immersed as an integral part of the Project Team, that will be responsible for delivering assigned projects or a defined scope of work from the Project Lead in the delivery of a high value projects across a range of applicationsOn offer is the opportunity to work on projects for a plethora of different purposes, supporting and managing lifecycles within a rapidly growing, established business that provide excellent progression opportunities alongside an attractive benefits packagewith the opportunity to gain chartership through company support.This role will involve a split of Field and desk-based work where you have flexible working hours. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, ideally with a strong oil and gas background, as well as knowledgeof project management methodologies and tools.The Role:

  • Leadership - Ensure positive engagement with stakeholders, conduct regular project team meetings, provide guidance and facilitate problem solving, provide mentorship and on-going personal development plans
  • Project Lifecycle - manage scope of works and client expectations, monitor project performance, perform cost monitoring, rigorously adhere to procedures and processes
  • Commercial Intensity - Effectively negotiate changes in in works scopes and define commercial impacts, manage project P&L with thorough understanding of budgets
  • Risk Management - Development of risk management plan, manage risks to avoid project delays, opportunity management
  • Stakeholder Management - Communicate project progress including cost to budget, act as a senior customer interface ensuring client voice is heard and expectations are exceeded
The Person:
  • Experience of Project Management within the Oil and Gas OR Engineering industry OR Manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing processes
