Practice Education Posts.The Surgical Division is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic practitioner who is interested in developing their career in an education role to support the provision of Critical Care education in the NHS Grampian Surgical Division.The successful practitioner will assist in the delivery of training and education for all levels of staff, to supporting the development of the clinical environment and staff on the journey towards Magnet status and compliance with the National Standards for Adult Critical Care Nurse Education.Currently there is a vacancy for a full time Practice Educator post at a Band 7 to support education in Critical Care. The post will be based in the Surgical Division Practice Education team, but will also have close links to Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen University and the North of Scotland Colleges.You should have excellent care values and a strong sense of team spirit coupled with a sense of humour. Enthusiasm to work, learn and develop self and colleagues within the exciting and challenging high pressure environment which is Surgical Nursing. You will be dynamic and forward thinking in your approach and focused on providing safe, efficient and person centred careYou should have extensive experience as a Band 6 or above, and be educated to Degree level or equivalent and for this post a post graduate certificate in education and a post registration award in Critical Care Nursing is required.
