We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team occupational health team in Aberdeen. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and delivering complex projects within the energy sector. Your ability to lead cross-functionalteams, manage resources, and drive successful project outcomes will be essential.Responsibilities• Follow a standard process, as defined by a professional project management organisation, such as• the APM (Association for Project Management) or the PMI (Project Management Institute)• Initiate the project - check feasibility and work out budgets, teams and resources.• Carry out planning - this will include setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producingschedules and timelines for tasks - in accordance with the needs of your client. Some tools, such asGantt charts, can be used to create a visual project plan.• Select, lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations.• Manage the project - which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track andkeeping the project on budget.• Carry out monitoring and control activities in order to track the progress of the project.• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with business goals.• Coordinate project activities, including risk assessments and stakeholder management.• Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.• Collaborate with technical experts, vendors, and clients to achieve project milestones.• Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.Qualifications• Proven track record in project management, preferably in the energy industry.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
