Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing OperatorLocation: AberdeenSalary: Hourly rate - £10.50 + Shift Allowance (£12.07 per hour inclusive of shift allowance) Job type: Full Time Permanent 37.5-hour week - Candidate must be able to work shifts, which is covered over a three-shift rotation pattern (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm & 10pm - 6am) rotating each week.JOB DESCRIPTIONDo you thrive in a fast-paced environment and relish the challenge to meet targets We are seeking to recruit a highly self-motivated, conscientious, and committed individual who has a do it now & can-do attitude to produce high quality rubber and plasticmoulded products to specification and target.The Role:Not one day is the same when working as a Manufacturing Operator, each day you have a variety of parts allowing for the creativity to flow. Based in the Aberdeen workshop, reporting to the Shift Team Leader the positions main responsibilities are preparingmaterials, equipment and producing quality parts liaising with other departments to make sure targets are met.Full training will be provided, 5 weeks training programme implemented from day one.The Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment is desired
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (5S) advantageous
  • Previous manual handling experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Desire to learn
