Interim Management Accountant- £44k pa Client Details

DescriptionDuties/Responsibilities

Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
Deliver accurate monthly management accounts to the FC for review and consolidation within a fixed timetable for both internal purposes and Group reporting
Management of month end processes: cut off adjustments, Balance Sheet reconciliations, calculate month end accruals and prepayments, month end and year end journals, and preparation of monthly management reports
Undertake job profitability analysis to check on the accuracy of costs and revenue for monthly reporting
Work with Project Team to provide the commentary on projects performance and variance analysis
Prepare and record financial transactions and maintain the accounting ledgers
Support and cover AR and AP as necessary
Support the preparation of rolling cash flow forecasts
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns

ProfileRequirements

Ideally possess a degree or equivalent in relevant field, but qualified by experience applicants will be considered
Experience of working effectively without close supervision and supporting colleagues
Comprehensive knowledge of global financial reporting requirements
Ability to apply accepted accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions
Strong working knowledge of Excel
