Job Description

Salary:Competitive Salary + BenefitsAbout the roleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced LGV Driver to join our William Wilson branch at Altens, Aberdeen. You will be required to deliver goods to sites across Aberdeenshire as and when required.The Altens branch services multiple house builders and large contractors in the area and its essential to continue the service levels for our customers in the Aberdeen area.You will be responsible for:

  • To deliver goods to sites across Aberdeen shire as when our customers require them.
  • Being polite and professional at all times.
  • Completing daily vehicle checks for H&S compliance.
  • Adhering to all legal compliance with regards to driving hours and tacho downloads.
  • Setting out delivery routes to be as productive as possible.
  • Loading and unloading of the vehicle following all H&S regulations.
About you
  • Good communication skills
  • Experienced delivery driver
  • Strong Teamplayer
  • Professional Attitude
  • Full UK Driving License and HGV Licence (Category C license)
  • Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience of using a Lorry Loader
  • A track record of good customer service
  • Basic vehicle knowledge - ability to perform defect checks
