Job Description

Graduate Electrical Engineer required for a manufacturer within panel boards, based in Aberdeen. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or junior levelled electrical engineer to join an expanding team within the engineering industry.Graduate Electrical Engineer Position Overview

  • Creating and specifying electrical designs by creating detailed diagrams and drawings of wiring, blocks, terminals, controls, component and equipment specifications and more.
  • Producing 3D modelling drawings and Bill of Materials for the use of the Production and Procurement teams.
  • Close liaison with customers on project requirements and drawing specifications.
  • Working with suppliers to provide accurate costings.
  • Contributing to the Owners & Maintenance manuals on electrical related subjects.
  • Supporting Projects and assisting the Production Manager to ensure project delivery is on time and in line with the quality standards.
  • Additionally, develop testing programs for tasks such as factory acceptance and other tests.
  • Travelling to customer sites occasionally to carry out site surveys or commissioning of machinery.
Graduate Electrical Engineer Position Requirements
  • HND or Degree Qualified / equivalent in an Electrical field of study.
  • PLC knowledge is essential.
  • Proven background within Electrical Design Engineering.
  • BS7671 Wiring Regulations 18th Edition.
  • Experience with Zuken software advantageous.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Solidworks or other 2D software.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Commutable distance to Aberdeen
