Its an exciting time to be here.About the roleThe role is based in our Aberdeen City Centre offices, but we offer all our team hybrid working, as we understand how important it is to your work/life balance.You will work closely with the Finance Lead, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and establishing strong and effective working relationships with colleagues across the division. Yourrole is critical in setting the highest standards ofperformance and identifying best practice across all Operating Companies, allowing you to have a real impact on delivering a top-class Financial Accounting Function.Your core responsibilities will involve; managing fixed assets, inter company balances, VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations, preparing monthly journals and running a variety of financial reports.What are we looking for

  • Knowledge of double entry accounting
  • Strong IT skills including all Microsoft Packages, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Good planning and organising skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self motivated and able to work to tight deadlines without supervision
  • Flexible and adaptable with ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to report and analyse data accurately whilst identifying and solving problems
  • Experience in a Finance role using accounting systems is desirable
  • Experience of working in a high-volume environment is desirable
