Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and is primarily responsible for working on a diverse range of bespoke projects for all their divisions. Assisting clients with product realisation for both hazardous and non-hazardousenvironments.

  • Designing LVD Power Distribution & Control systems
  • The creation and approval of electrical, control schematics (AutoCAD LT)
  • The creation and approval of general arrangement drawings (AutoCAD LT)
  • Proving, building and testing design concepts
  • Component selection, creating and approving Bills of Materials
  • Technical report writing
  • Preforming electrical calculations
  • Performing engineering verification of designs & supporting documents
  • Analysing performance and test data
  • System analysis and troubleshooting
  • Applying knowledge of standards
  • Collaborating with other engineers and departments throughout design to completion
  • Clearly presenting designs to internal teams
  • Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Preparation & of Work packs and other manufacturing documents
To be successful in this role of Electrical Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
  • An engineering degree in a relevant field
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Electrical design experience
  • Proficient with 2D CAD (AutoCAD LT) & 3D
  • Hands on experience of control and power distribution systems
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently
