Job Description

Are you currently working as a delivery driver, or maybe just someone who enjoys driving and is looking for a career change Then this role might be for you! Glassolutions in Aberdeen are currently looking to bring in a new member of the team as a driverwho may also assist the Glass Operators.Glassolutions is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK, and we are committed to making the world a better home.   • Driving a 3.5 tonne van to delivery our glass products (Standard driving License required)
  • Show great customer service when delivering to our customers
  • Assisting in Loading and Unloading your Van
  • Occasionally helping the operating team with potential to be trained on the cutting machinery if it is of interest to you
This role will see you working from 8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and an early 3:30pm finish on a FridayTraining will be provided for all aspects of the role, but a driving license is requiredYou may also take the company Van home with you at the end of the day to save you using your own transportWhat we are looking forAs full training will be provided for this role, you do not necessarily need to have an extensive background. However, any glass handling or commercial driving experience is beneficial. We will consider anyone with the right attitude and who is willing tolearn and develop into an efficient driving professional. It would be advantageous to have:
  • Glass handling experience
  • Delivery Driving Experience
  • Warehouse experience
  • Drivers License-Essential
