Job Description

Draughtsperson (Hydraulics / Manufacturing)£40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Excellent Pension + Flexible Working Hours + Pay and Role Progression + Company BenefitsAberdeenAre you a Draughtsperson with a background in Manufacturing or Hydraulics, looking for a new and exciting opportunity to work for a small but highly successful manufacture who supply to oil and gas, subsea, heavy industry and industrial processesAre you looking to become immersed in an integral role, where you will be responsible for effectively delivering assigned design ventures of high-value projects across various applications, whilst ensuring your work/ life balance is nothing but a priorityOn offer is the opportunity to work within a close-knit design team, where you will be responsible for resource management, generating and checking BOMs and drawings and maintaining draughting processes and procedures. You will contribute hands-on contributionsto generating hydraulic equipment drawings with mechanical design engineers.You will design all types of hydraulic cylinders for industrial environments and deepwater applications for products including stainless steel valves.The Role:

  • Generation and checking of engineering drawings, deck layouts and associated Bills of
  • Materials - Creating detailed fabrication, machining and assembly drawings, creation of BOMs and communicating design data to project teams, suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Maintaining, creating and documenting draughting processes and procedures - ensure best-in-class draughting and engineering, implement workflow processes, ensuring continual improvement of draughting activities
  • Designing equipment - keeping in line with project Functional Design Specifications and project budgets as set
The Person:
  • Experience as a Draughtsperson with a Hydraulics or Manufacturing Background
  • Solidworks experience
