Job Description

Job Title: Design DraughtsmanLocation: Aberdeen, ScotlandAre you a talented and detail-oriented Design Draughtsman looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) company My client is a leading innovator in the industry, as they continue to push boundariesand set new standards in GRP design and manufacturing. They are currently seeking a skilled Design Draughtsman to join there team in Aberdeen and play a key role in shaping the future of our products.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design Development: Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to create detailed and accurate GRP product drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  2. Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including assembly instructions, material specifications, and product manuals.
  3. CAD Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard CAD software to produce 2D and 3D drawings, models, and prototypes.
  4. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design documentation to identify and resolve potential issues, ensuring the highest quality in all products.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and project management, to ensure seamless communication and efficient project execution.
  6. Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, actively contributing innovative ideas to enhance product design and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Design Draughtsman
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
