Job Description

Overall purpose of the role: To provide the shopping centre with reliable and proactive waste collection service and maintain a high standard of cleanliness for the service areasMain Duties:

  • Ensure that service yards are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
  • Collecting waste bins and loading them onto compactors for emptying and then unloading the bin
  • Heavy lifting and repetitive tasks, as and when required
  • Cleaning of internal service areas
To be successful in the role, you will need:
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative, while being part of a team
  • Be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
  • Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary
