Job Description

My client based in Aberdare are looking for a PERMANENT Storesperson to join their team.This is a full-time permanent opportunity with a lovely team.The main aim of the role is to effectively administrate the flow of materials from suppliers into production.You will need to determine the quantity and timing of deliveries to meet production dates.List of key tasks:

  • Managing efficient and accurate receipt of supplier deliveries,
  • Ensure paperwork is compliant and report discrepancies in accordance with the companys Quality Procedures.
  • Carrying out all associated SAGE 200 system transactions - goods receipt, locating and storing, kitting, issuing to production and completion of sub-assemblies and finished goods.
  • Ensuring materials are picked and kitted correctly and accordingly and available for production in line with Works Order schedule in order to sufficiently support production planning.
  • Identifying where sub-assemblies or semi/finished goods are available as part of kitting process and adjusting Works Orders accordingly.
  • Administrating inventory control system - inventory accuracy checks, stock locations and perpetual inventory stock counting.
  • Support Purchasing Manager and Buyer for escalation of material issues encountered in the stores.
You will play an active role within the Materials Team by:-
  • Identifying materials and stores critical processes and critical success factors.
  • Carrying out 5S and other Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Co-ordinate with other Departments in order to facilitate issue resolution and participate in cross functional team projects.
  • The Stores Administrator could carry out any other duties within their competences as required by the Purchasing Manager.
