Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Aberdare£40,000 - £43,000 plus excellent benefits19069/610A talented and enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is required by one of our top clients who design bespoke systems for a wide range of blue chip OEMs in automotive, aerospace and oil & gas. The company are growing and expanding at a huge rate currentlywith a lot of internal promotions and progression opportunities available. This Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will play an important part of managing projects across the business which is why this is an important role for the company. Role & Responsibilities:*Design, own and deliver concepts as required into production*Work with CAD programmes to receive, read, prepare and transmit data files ensuring accuracy and validity of data*Ensure all designs and products are tested before release to market*Managing projects worldwide *Support key account managers by providing technical support on visits*Liaise with the customer, suppliers and all other stakeholders at all times during the enquiry, new product introduction and manufacturing stages*Support junior members of the team with training and adviceKnowledge, Skills & Experience:*Strong engineering design experience gained either in industry or Higher Education (preferably degree level)*Experience working with Sheet Metal, Extrusion, Plastics or Composites would be highly desirable*Able to be a Senior figure within the team leading by example and helping engineers with any day to day issues *3D Solidworks and Radan experience would be advantageous *Will have experience in process and continuous improvement tools and techniquesBenefits Package:o£40,000 - £43,000oExcellent training and development availableoOpportunities for progression and development within the business oContributory PensionoPlus excellent benefitsIf you are interested in this role or looking for something similar please contact our Managing Consultant David Biggs directly at or call them for a confidential discussion on .
